If you haven't heard why we were closed those days in June, well, we were filming a segment for The Food Network. Guy Fieri brought his show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, to Highway 61 Roadhouse to check out some of the great food, and spectacular things going on. It was a joy to play host to Guy, and his talented staff from Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, everybody had a wonderful time. Guy chose to sample our BBQ Spaghetti, Red Beans & Rice and an item from our new upcoming menu, CajAsian Potstickers. Guy was very impressed with the amount of passion that we give to each of our recipes. Guy also made the statement that if he lived in this area this would be the place he would hang out.
Guy, by the way is a graduate of UNLV, just like The Roadhouse Owner & General Manager Bill Kunz. There must be something special in the water there, for them to have turned out such interesting restaurant people.

At this time we do not know when the segment will air but when we do we will let you know about our viewing bash.
